The Heart Behind the Day

Selina and Joe’s Terrain at Styer's Glen Mills wedding was the kind of day that reminded me why I do this work. It was emotionally rich, deeply grounded, and full of meaningful wedding moments—exactly the kind of celebration that speaks to couples who care about joy, connection, and the commitment at the center of the day.

From the first email, I knew Selina and Joe were my kind of people. They wanted photography that felt honest, unposed, and reflective of who they are—creative, kind, and deeply present with their loved ones. Their early March wedding struck the perfect note between winter warmth and spring renewal, and Terrain at Styer's was an inspired choice.

Getting Ready At Best Western Plus Concordville Hotel


The morning began in the spacious and elegant suite at the Best Western Plus Concordville Hotel, a mere stone’s throw from Terrain in Glen Mills. Selina’s details—soft white florals in a black and white palette palette, handwritten vows, and heirloom jewelry—set the tone. Her getting ready moments with her mom and sister were heartfelt and low-key, captured with a documentary-style approach. Joe shared a quiet moment with his best man under soft window light. You could feel the calm in the room.

Their first look took place on the beautiful grounds and we strolled the gorgeous property ending in the greenhouse - just the two of them, with natural light pouring through the glass and early buds hinting at spring. It was one of those Terrain at Styer's wedding photography moments that practically makes itself: full of emotion, authenticity, and zero fuss.

Private Vows in the Mushroom House

One of the most moving parts of Selina and Joe’s Terrain Glen Mills wedding was the quiet moment they carved out for private vows. Just the two of them, tucked inside the charming Mushroom House on the property, they exchanged promises through happy tears—honest, heartfelt, and completely unfiltered. There was no audience, no pressure—just two people choosing each other, again and again. Photographing those vows was a true honor.

The Ceremony


Held at the outdoor garden space, their ceremony was filled with laughter, deep emotion, and stories from family. The setting—lush greenery contrasted with seasonal branches—made for a warm winter wedding inspiration moment, perfectly grounded in the evening March light.

The reception was, in a word, joyful. The rustic event space transformed into an intimate dinner party with long farm tables, flickering candles, and a playlist that spanned decades of meaning for the couple. The toasts? Thoughtful and hilarious. The dance floor? Full of life.
